Korean actor Cha Tae-hyun has started filming a new big screen project, aiming to hit the theaters in the first half of next year.

New Korean film, tentatively titled “Slow Video,” cranked in with its main actor Cha Tae-hyun on Wednesday, the movie’s promoter Younghwain said in a press release the same day.

The second Korean film by its major investor 20th Century Fox is also the second teamwork of Cha Tae-hyun and director Kim Young-tak, the hit duo of sleeper hit “Hello Ghost.”

Co-starring Nam Sang-mi, Oh Dal-soo, Go Chang-suk and Jin Gyeong, “Slow Video” will center on a man named Jang-boo (Cha), who has eyes that see everything slower than normal people. Nam will portray Jang-boo’s childhood friend named Soo-mi.

“We attracted to the scenario with a warm point of view towards the world. The movie will be the one showing Nam’s new side and bring heartwarming smile to the audience,” an official with Nam’s agency JR Entertainment told TenAsia.

  1. Can’t wait for this movie. I love “Hello Ghost”. “Hello Ghost” centered around Cha and so does this movie so really looking forward to it. The sageuk movie “Gone With the Wind” involved many people so I don’t like it very much. Yeay, Cha!
