Super Junior M‘s Henry gives the gift of laughter for the Chuseok holidays to the viewers of “1 Night 2 Days” as he fails to recognize Kim Joo Hyuk and then has a cute reaction to a joke by a PD.
The September 27 broadcast of KBS2‘s “1 Night 2 Days” features guests who have all spent time abroad. They join the cast to go to Gyeongbuk for a traditional Korean experience. During the show, Henry finds his partner Kim Joo Hyuk with some difficulty. Upon seeing Henry, Kim Joo Hyuk approaches him happily.
However, Henry doesn’t recognize Kim Joo Hyuk. As he runs over to greet him, Henry turns to the staff, flustered, and says, “Who is that? What’s his name?”
The show then shows him earlier, answering a question about whether he watches “1 Night 2 Days.” Henry replies, “I heard the ’1 Night 2 Days’ staff didn’t like me because it was in the same time slot as ‘Real Men.’”
At this, the PD jokes, “We didn’t like you,” which shocks Henry and he freezes for a moment.
Henry then smiles and says, “Don’t dislike me!”
Meanwhile, Henry became hugely popular as a variety star after his appearance on MBC‘s “Real Men.”

It was only afterwards I worried about how I would appear on screen, since I was too preoccupied with having fun during the real deal.” “I was so happy to leave my house and have fun with other people since I am such a homebody. I thank everyone for taking good care of me, and I am happy to have gotten to know Park Bo Young. Everyone treated me with ease as if we were old friends,” she said. It’s a special episode of “1 Night 2 Days” this week as each member brings a celebrity female friend on their adventure. Kim Joo Hyuk brings his friend and former co-star Moon Geun Young, much to the delight of the rest of the cast.
The group gets split up into teams before they have to travel to the next location. When Moon Geun Young proudly says she can drive and that she bought a car last year, Kim Joo Hyuk interrupts her to tell everyone that she got in a minor collision the day before.
As everyone laughs, Park Bo Young asks if it was Moon Geun Young that caused the accident, and Moon Geun Young quickly clarifies that she didn’t. But when she’s tasked with driving her team members Kim Joo Hyuk, Kim Joon Ho, and Kim Sook, her passengers seem a bit concerned from the get go. “Is your seat in the right position?” they ask. “It seems just right!” she replies confidently.
“I’ll work hard and do my best!” she announces cutely. Then she adds more seriously, “We won’t die.”
As they get going, she talks with Kim Sook about how fun it is to drive, before Kim Joon Ho points out that she’ll have to speed up in three kilometers.
Once they get on a faster road, the guys in the back comment that she seems to be doing well. But Kim Sook points out that they’re both holding on to the handles on the ceiling.
A beeping noise then starts coming from the dashboard. “Why is it making that noise?” Moon Geun Young asks. “It’s saying you’re going too fast,” they explain, and Moon Geun Young laughs in embarrassment.
“Please slow down a bit!” says Kim Joo Hyuk with a laugh.
“There’s no one in front of me so I was just going for it,” she explains.
They then celebrate as they pass another team’s car!

Jung Joon Young’s slightly lacking sense of common knowledge was revealed on “1 Night 2 Days.”
On the episode of KBS 2TV’s “1 Night 2 Days” aired on February 22, the crew travels to Icheon in Gyeonggi Providence for the “Exclusive! 1 Day 2 Nights” special. Jung Joon Young especially releases his random charms on full force.
Jung Joon Young, Kim Joo Hyuk, and Defconn team up with reporters Jung Sae Bae, Kim Na Na, and Kang Min Soo for a quiz with dinner at stake. However, the team is off to a shaky start as Jung Joon Young comments, “What is common knowledge? Is it like an essay,” when the staff announces the quiz will be on common knowledge.
At first, Jung Joon Young approaches the quiz at a humble position, saying, “I won’t be much help during the game.” However, he shows off his confidence as he strikes a haughty pose, remarking, “I watch a lot of news.”
For sure, his level of common knowledge is mind blowing—and it’s not because he’s a genius. At one point he says, “Greenbelt? That’s the name of a president,” confusing President Roosevelt’s names as greenbelt.
On the upcoming episode of “1 Night, 2 Days,” airing January 18, Jung Joon Young’s looks and expressions make him look like a cute elf. Still cuts of Jung Joon Young were released through the show’s official Facebook page. With his round eyes, small face, big pointy ears, and short bangs, Jung Joon Young looks like an elf that jumped out from the pages of comic book. His expressions also are overflowing with cuteness, as he stares at something with interest and listens intently to his older cast members.
In the stills, he’s participating in a team “bokbulbok” (game of chance) for dinner. He is on a team with Kim Joo Hyuk and Defconn, while Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Joon Ho, and Kim Jong Min are on the opposite team. Jung Joon Young will surprise viewers again with his mischievous actions as the two teams battle it out to eat dinner.
In the December 21 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s variety show “1 Night 2 Days,” the cast, which consists of Kim Joo Hyuk, Kim Joon Ho, Cha Tae Hyun, Defconn, Kim Jong Min, and Jung Joon Young, head to Jeju for a year-end special. It is the first time that the season three team has been to Jeju.
Upon arrival, the members and staff of “1 Night 2 Days” were met with gusty winds, heavy snowfall, and even a hailstorm. Despite the miserable weather, the show proceeded as scheduled to Marado, an island off the south coast of Jeju.
In the stills released today, some of the cast members are pictured getting carried off in the back of a pickup truck in what looks like a snowstorm.
Viewers can anticipate all kinds of antics from the cast members (like donning wetsuits when a hailstorm hits at lunch time) in the upcoming episode as they attempt to fend off Mother Nature.
Actor Cha Tae Hyun has revealed that he would like to beat “Gag Concert” with “1 Night 2 Days” at the end-of-year award ceremonies.
Cha Tae Hyun said in the press conference held on December 10 at the KBS wedding hall about KBS 2TV‘s variety show “1 Night 2 Days,” that he recommends Kim Joon Ho again for Grand Prize (Daesang). He said, “I don’t think it would be a problem if Kim Joon Ho got the Daesang this year since the situation with ’1 Night 2 Days’ improved a lot, although there’s still ‘Superman Returns‘ [to beat].”
He added, “We finished filming last week. We filmed seven or eight different scenarios, ones in which we actually got the Grand Prize, one in which we didn’t, one in which we didn’t get nominated. Then there was one where Joon Ho gets the Grand Prize, one where we get the Grand Prize as a team, one where we are dejected because ‘Superman Returns’ gets the Grand Prize. And as such, we don’t feel too pressured.”
Also, he joked, “It’s a better situation than last year. Personally, I would like to get the Program Prize where the viewers vote for their favorite shows. I would like to beat ‘Gag Concert.’ Although it would be okay losing to ‘Superman Returns,’ I would like to beat ‘Gag Concert.’”
Meanwhile, “1 Night 2 Days” celebrated its first anniversary of its third season on December 1. With the addition of Kim Joo Hyuk, Kim Joon Ho, Cha Tae Hyun, Defcon, Kim Jong Min, Jung Joon Young, season three of “1 Night 2 Days” overcame the low ratings of the second season and currently has the highest rating of Sunday variety show programs.
The cast of the latest season of “1 Night 2 Days” will be going on a special celebratory trip for their first year anniversary.
A representative from KBS announced on November 11, “’1 Night 2 Days’ will celebrate its one year anniversary in December. To celebrate, the staff team is planning a special trip.”
They also added, “The cast members of the show do not know the details of what the trip will be, and it will be a surprise. We will go back to the ‘wild nature variety’ theme of the show that has stood since the beginning. It will be a difficult trip, but it will be a memorable one.”
“1 Night 2 Days” kicked off its third season on December 1 of 2013 with new members. The current team consists of original members Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jong Min, along with new members Defconn, Kim Joo Hyuk, Kim Jun Ho, and Jung Joon Young.
In the latest episode of KBS1 Night 2 Days, the cast set their destination to Korea’s countryside, encountering six ajummas with attitude, bringing hilarious comedy and heartwarming stories to the audience.
On the episode aired on October 19th, the members were introduced to six elder ladies from the town, only to be ignored due to the attention grabbing helicam. Eventually, the members of 1 Night 2 Days gained new partners in the ajummas and began their countryside mission together.
The variety show’s cast were given different missions to accomplish with their lady partner, and during the missions, the comedy did not seem to stop and was enough to make viewers laugh out loud.
But in addition to the comedy were heartwarming moments, in which the members showed their kind sides as they treated the ajummas as if they were their mothers, putting the weight of the missions on themselves instead of the old women.
Though the missions of 1 Night 2 Days brought much complaints between the members and the ajummas due to the hard work, they became almost like sons and grandsons by the end of the episode.
