Defconn was faced with a most difficult decision on the latest episode of ‘1 Night 2 Days‘!
On this week’s episode, the cast took a moment to rate themselves on how they’ve been doing so far. “He’s very driven and aggressive, but he’s also surprisingly thin-skinned,” Kim Jun Ho said about Defconn. “That’s because I’m blood type A,” Defconn defended.
“But you still say everything you want to,” Kim Jun Ho replied. “Yoo Jae Suk versus Kang Ho Dong!” he said quickly, prodding Defconn to choose between the two ‘nation’s MCs’.
Without hesitation, Defconn yelled, “Yoo Jae Suk!”
“But I really like Kang Ho Dong too,” he added seconds later, mindful of which show he was on, sending the cast into laughter.
During the recent filming of new KBS 2TV variety show ‘Moonlight Prince‘, host Kang Ho Dong revealed he feels honored to be compared to his well-known rival and friend Yoo Jae Suk.
Kang Ho Dong shared, “Calling me Yoo Jae Suk’s rival is the biggest compliment. I’m jealous of Yoo Jae Suk, Shin Dong Yup, Tak Jae Hoon, Lee Kyung Kyu, and more. They are born to do comedy and variety shows. Because I did sports, I feel I lack in the basics. To make up for the areas I lack in, I have no choice but to consistently work hard. Thus, if you compare me to Yoo Jae Suk, I feel very very honored and embarrassed. I will do my best to keep being compared to him. I’ll work and study hard.”
In other news, Kang Ho Dong’s new book talk show ‘Moonlight Prince’, featuring co-hosts Changmin, Brave Brothers, Jung Jae Hyung, and Tak Jae Hoon, will premiere on the 22nd at 11:15 PM KST!

A particular photo found in Boom’s house has been attracting attention.
On October 23, SBS’ Strong Heart had the cast of SBS’ The Great Seer, Ji Sung, Kim So Yeon, Lee Yoon Ji, Yoo Ha Jun, and Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain, Jewelry’s Yewon, A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji, and soccer player and sports caster, Song Jong Gook as guests.
On this day, Boom brought in a picture of his home, asking for the guests to check the feng shui in his house.
Lee Yoon Ji said, “The sofa is blocking all the good energy that’s coming in through the main entrance, and it’s dark even though it’s in the middle of the day.”
She continued to say, “It’s good that you can see the entire room from anywhere. The plants in the room will also bring good energy.”
Then they noticed that Boom has a picture of Yoo Jae Suk and Kang Ho Dong hung up on the wall. Boom said, causing laughter “I put it there to receive good energy from it. There’s greed and ambition.”
When asked where Shin Dong Yeop’s photo was, Boom replied, “Shin Dong Yeop’s picture is inside a drawer.”

Entertainer Boom revealed a photo of his house and a picture hanging on his wall caught the attention of the guests as well as viewers.
On the October 23rd broadcast of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, cast of the new drama, ‘The Great Seer‘, as well as several others appeared as guests.
On this episode, Boom asked actress Lee Yoon Ji to “Check the feng shui of [his] house,” and revealed a photo of his home. Lee Yoon Ji said, “The good energy that is coming through the front door is being blocked by your sofa and it is so dark that you have to turn on the lights even during the day,” giving her assessment. Regarding the bedroom she said, “You can see everything in the room from any position so it is good. You have live plants in your room so it should bring you good energy.”
What caught the attention of everyone though was a photo of Boom posing with Yoo Jae Suk and Kang Ho Dong on his wall. Boom said, “I put it up to get good energy. It shows my desires and ambition,” bringing laughter on set. When asked, “Where is Shin Dong Yup‘s picture,” he answered, “It is in my dresser drawer,” which made everyone laugh again.
MC Mong, as well as the members of ‘Infinity Challenge‘ and ‘Running Man‘ visited Byul‘s father’s wake.
MC Mong and HaHa have been friends for more than 10 years, strengthening their friendship through various programs they participated in together. Even though MC Mong had been keeping low since two years ago due to the controversy surrounding military enlistment, he rushed to HaHa’s father-in-law’s wake on the 15th as soon as he heard the news. He paid his respects, comforted HaHa and Byul shortly before quietly leaving.
Yoo Jae Suk also attended the wake and stayed for over 3 hours, greeting others in HaHa’s place. Gil and Gary were the first ‘Infinity Challenge’ and ‘Running Man’ members to pay their respects, and Park Myung Soo and Jung Jun Ha rushed over immediately after their schedules, with other members coming to offer their condolences later on as well.
With Kang Ho Dong confirmed to return to ‘Knee Drop Guru‘ and ‘Star King‘, many fans are anticipating the revitalized rivalry between him and Yoo Jae Suk. The two MCs are very close friends and had made their place as the two top ‘national MCs’. However, after Kang Ho Dong halted his activities, Yoo Jae Suk kept the ‘national MC’ title.
However, Yoo Jae Suk had been hit with his own problems after Kang Ho Dong’s hiatus. ‘Infinity Challenge‘ was delayed for 24 weeks from February to July, only airing again months before Kang Ho Dong’s comeback. ‘Come to Play‘ suffered even more, plummeting in viewer ratings to 3%. ‘Happy Together 3‘ also fell in ratings because viewers started to get bored of the public bath format. ‘Running Man‘ had been Yoo Jae Suk’s only high note, but ‘1 Night 2 Days‘ had recently taken back over its #1 Sunday night viewer rating spot.
With Kang Ho Dong’s return, Yoo Jae Suk’s programs are also stepping up their game. ‘Infinity Challenge’ has returned back to its explosive popularity. ‘Come to Play’ and ‘Happy Together 3′ have also gone through a redesign in format, earning praise from many viewers.
An insider in broadcast stated, “Ironically, even though Yoo Jae Suk and Kang Ho Dong have always been rivals, when Kang Ho Dong left, Yoo Jae Suk seemed to lose strength. However, once Kang Ho Dong’s comeback was confirmed, Yoo Jae Suk revitalized.”
Kang Ho Dong and Yoo Jae Suk will once again be going head to head. ‘Knee Drop Guru’ will air at the same time as ‘Happy Together 3′, while ‘Star King’ airs with ‘Infinity Challenge’.
