Jung Joon Young’s slightly lacking sense of common knowledge was revealed on “1 Night 2 Days.”
On the episode of KBS 2TV’s “1 Night 2 Days” aired on February 22, the crew travels to Icheon in Gyeonggi Providence for the “Exclusive! 1 Day 2 Nights” special. Jung Joon Young especially releases his random charms on full force.
Jung Joon Young, Kim Joo Hyuk, and Defconn team up with reporters Jung Sae Bae, Kim Na Na, and Kang Min Soo for a quiz with dinner at stake. However, the team is off to a shaky start as Jung Joon Young comments, “What is common knowledge? Is it like an essay,” when the staff announces the quiz will be on common knowledge.
At first, Jung Joon Young approaches the quiz at a humble position, saying, “I won’t be much help during the game.” However, he shows off his confidence as he strikes a haughty pose, remarking, “I watch a lot of news.”
For sure, his level of common knowledge is mind blowing—and it’s not because he’s a genius. At one point he says, “Greenbelt? That’s the name of a president,” confusing President Roosevelt’s names as greenbelt.
Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA revealed that her ideal type, once upon a time, used to be Cha Tae Hyun.
During her appearance on KBS‘s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, YoonA found herself in a tent with the rest of the cast members. “It’s true,” she said, to the disbelief of the cast. “Nowadays, I say that my ideal type is Yeon Jung Hoon, but before that, there was Cha Tae Hyun.”
“I thought it was really cool how he married his first love,” she said, explaining her reasoning. After staring at her for a few seconds, Cha Tae Hyun turned to the camera and said, “turn off the camera, please” – sending the tent into fits of laughter.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen any pictures of Cha Tae Hyun‘s family. On the latest episode of his variety show, ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, the actor and variety star updated viewers on how they were getting along.
Paying a visit prior to the start of their next trip, the producers caught Cha Tae Hyun packing with his daughter, Tae Eun. Smiling brightly, she brought laughter by trying on her father’s hats and playing around with the camera.
Meanwhile, his son seemed to have inherited his father’s comedic genes, lolling around on the bed yelling “1 Night 2 Days” and asking, “Dad, when are you going to do ’3 Night 4 Days’?”
Cha Tae Hyun also teased an addition to the family with the news that his wife was pregnant with his third child – congratulations!
Cha Tae Hyun joyfully celebrated the end of his unlucky streak on KBS‘s ‘1 Night 2 Days‘.
As night fell during the cast’s latest voyage, Cha Tae Hyun became worried that he would, once again, be left out in the cold as the other members slept inside. He hadn’t won the sleeping game for nine weeks straight, causing the other cast members to bestow upon him the title of the ‘unluckiest man alive’.
However, the producers had good news up their sleeves, as they announced that there would be no game today, and that all of the cast members would be able to fall asleep in comfort – indoors.
Despite the somewhat deus ex machina conclusion, Cha Tae Hyun was just thankful that he would be able to sleep in the warmth for the first time in 10 weeks. However, that didn’t do much to assuage his worries about his luck. “Now, it’s time for the roof to fall in,” he cracked, bringing laughter to the room full of drowsy ’1N2D’ cast members.
With the entrance of actor Yoo Hae Jin as the newest cast member of the venerable KBS variety program ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, the cast members welcomed him to the show in traditional ’1N2D’ style – by dunking him into a ocean.
All of the cast members soon followed him into the chilly ocean, re-affirming the bond between the cast and crew and throwing a trial-by-fire (or water, in this case) welcome for Yoo Hae Jin.

Actor and variety star Cha Tae Hyun was surprised by Kim Jong Min‘s attack on his marital status during a game on the latest episode of ‘1 Night 2 Days‘.
Divided into two teams, they set off on a game of ‘insults’ to determine dinner for that night, with the last team standing being the winner.
Kim Jong Min teed off the attack with “I don’t like how you keep grinning all the time”, a comparatively weak attack.
Laughing, Cha Tae Hyun replied, “you’re ugly” – which seemed to strike right at his heart. Wobbling for a few seconds, Kim Jong Min soon appeared to have a brilliant idea. “You regret your marriage!” he yelled.
To this, Cha Tae Hyun charged at his opponent, yelling, “Not yet!”
Today marked the final episode for actor Kim Seung Woo on the KBS variety program ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, as the actor makes good on his earlier word to focus on his acting career after ending ‘Win Win‘ earlier this year.
As a going-away present, the members all signed a baseball uniform for him, who they all knew to be a massive baseball fan. The uniform also included the numbers 25113, which stood for the birthdays of his family.
“You were my proud younger brothers,” he said, attempting to hide his tears. “As a ’1 Night 2 Days’ fan, I’ll keep supporting you.”
Kim Seung Woo’s departure from the show is part of a larger overhaul of ’1 Night 2 Days’, which includes the departure of producer Choi Jae Hyung and the addition of a new member, actor Yoo Hae Jin.
In an effort to focus purely on his acting, actor Kim Seung Woo has been cutting down his variety appearances. After ending ‘Win Win‘ earlier this year, today marked the beginning of his final trip on KBS’ ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, where he had been a fixed cast member since the beginning of the show’s second season last year.
Whether by fate or pure luck, the actor’s final trip also marked the first and last time he would be the winner of a solo race, as he discovered that he was the first arrival at this episode’s final location: picturesque Jeju Island. Next week’s episode is expected to be his last appearance on ’1 Night 2 Days’.
Kim Seung Woo’s departure will be one part of a major shift in the program, as the show will also bid farewell to its main producer, Choi Jae Hyung. Beginning in April, producer Lee Sae Hee will be taking the helm, along with actor Yoo Hae Jin as a new member.
